When time and energy is lacking it never hurts to have something to look forward to (in other words, in this situation I challenge my inner Pollyanna). Top 5 things on my list to look forward within the next week:
a cup of coffee and Christmas cookies on Sunday at my friend's house (who also happens to be a very talented baker)
yoga class
first time "babysitting" my friend's puppy
sushi with the girls
hot chocolate, blanket and a good (finance) book
