At a beginner's make-up course I was taught never to use the same colours for the make-up and the outfit. Thankfully, this rule has proven itself wrong on more than one occasions.
I'm not familiar with how this rule applies to accessories on one hand and make-up on the other. But I just noticed that the latest addition to the jewelry box, "black" pearl earrings and the Chanel Paradoxal are not too far from each other on the colour palette.
And both are this Christmas favorites :)
