Náttúrulegur heimagerður maski // Natural DIY face mask
Ég bað kærastann um að sækja þetta fyrir mig um daginn á uppáhalds snyrtistofuna mína í Kaupmannahöfn, Mynthe. Þetta er yndisleg, ogguponsulítil stofa sem er bara með náttúrulegar vörur. Allavega, hann kom heim furðu lostinn, að ég hafi borgað 100 kr fyrir þetta drullumall :-)
En þetta er maski, og sá allra besti, handgerður fyrir mína húð af henni Monu. Avókadó-olía, möndluolía, ferskjukjarnar, leir og fleira gúmmelaði sem húðin alveg elskar. Og engin aukaefni! Nú þarf ég bara að finna tíma til að skottast út í náttúrubúð til að kaupa inn í minn eigin maska. Vá hvað ég mæli með þessu.
I asked my man to get this for me the other day in my favorite beauty salon in Copenhagen, Mynthe. It is a wonderful, tiny place near Gammel Kongevej that only provides treatments with natural, organic products. Anyway, my boyfriend came home, very shocked that I would pay for dirt in a jar :-)
This is the best mask I have ever tried, custom made for my skin. Avocado-oil, almond oil, peach pits, clay and other purely natural ingredients that my skin just loves. And the best thing is that you can make it yourself! I can't wait to go shopping in the next nature shop that I pass by.

Budgeting
Árið 2012 breyttust kaupvenjur míns og betri helmingsins gjörsamlega. Við flutninga úr 80 fermetrum í Árósum í 30 fermetra í Kaupmannahöfn (tímabundið, sem betur fer) þá þurftum við að losa okkur við alveg heilan helling af dóti. Með skápa fulla af H&M (og ekki misskilja, h&m eru snillingar í því sem þeir gera - en fötin endast ekkert ofboðslega lengi) þá fór ekki á milli mála hvað það var sem fékk fyrst að fjúka til Rauða Krossins :-)
Þannig, eftir flutninga, ákváðum við að áætla okkur ákveðið budget á mánuði. Þvílík snilld! Þetta gefur manni svo frábært tækifæri til að safna fyrir því sem manni dreymir um. Ég sparaði í nokkra mánuði fyrir Louboutin skónum sem ég hef þráð svo lengi, og hann sprangar um í ansi fínum Grenson skóm líka.
Ég mæli svo hiklaust með þessu, það er svo gaman að eignast fallega hluti án samviskubits.
In 2012, me and my better half reversed our purchasing behaviour. Moving from 80 squaremeters to 30 forced us to get rid of a lot of things. And there was no question where to start - h&m (although very lovely at times, the colourful dresses and comfy sweaters usually don´t look that good after several washes). Long story short, we realized we weren´t doing this right.
So we decided on a monthly budget, which enables you to save up for the big juicy stuff :-) And oh the wonders of buying the things you have always dreamt about, without bad conscience!

Craving - Zara golden leaves necklace

Recommended - Lavera basis sensitive body lotion
I may be a cosmetics - and bath product shopaholic. But sometimes it is an advantage, because I end up trying all kinds of products that I come to love. This is one example, and it is the first product I buy from Lavera (along with the other products that joined it in the basket, more on that later).
It is the perfect morning-body lotion. The smell of jojoba is mild and lovely and is quickly absorbed by the skin. It is free of parabens and contains among other things Aloa Vera, Shea Butter, Jojoba and Almond oil.
I bought it in a natural cosmetic store in Aarhus for 95 DKK but it can most definitely be found online as well.
